I'm a creative designer based in the Pacific Northwest with a passion for game design, game production, video editing, social media, comics, and digital art. I like bringing unorthodox ideas to the table and also greatly value simplicity and ease of access. Over my time creating digital media, I have done work with organizations such as Mountain Side Games (MSG), Dytomic, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Feel free to get in contact with me over email or LinkedIn for business purposes or for questions regarding my projects.
My story:
I grew up playing video games that I have many fond memories of that soon turned into an interest in their design I became very intrigued and I wanted to know how these experiences were crafted. After toying with the idea for a bit, I found out that I had a knack for game design in high school and decided to pursue it. This led me to Simon Fraser University’s School of Interactive Arts and Technology where I graduated with an Interactive Arts Technology major as well as an Extended Minor in English. During my university studies I crafted a plethora of game design projects I'm really proud of. I have also obtained an Art for Games certificate from Michigan State University through Coursera.org, an experience that has helped familiarize me with pixel art, low poly 3D modeling, current gen 3D modeling, and environmental concept art.
In addition to my interests in game design, I also spent my high school years learning video editing and have lots of experience in the field with it further developing during my university years with a plethora of great videos made for hobby, volunteer, commission, and part time work. These mainly comprise YouTube videos about gaming as well as videos made for eSports and games such as my work done with Mountain Side Games and Dytomic. I also enjoy some sketching and digital art and have spent a few years drawing comics for SFU's student newspaper. I also do pixel art on my own time as a hobby.
I really love playing games and creating experiences for people be it a game, video, or comic. I hope to bolster my career in regards to user experience and I always aim to get a good response with my work.
